Dr. Amanda Wiredu

Welcome, and thank you for visiting. I am honored that you are considering me as your partner in health. My goal is to provide compassionate, personalized care in an environment where you feel heard, valued, and never rushed. To help you get to know me, here's a little about my background. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of South Florida before attending Northwestern University Medical School. Following medical school, I participated in research, and did my internship at Evanston Hospital, Northwestern University Medical School and completed my residency training at the Miriam Hospital, Brown University.

Throughout my career, it has been a privilege to care for patients and build lasting relationships with them. As I transition to concierge medicine, I am excited to offer a more personalized approach to healthcare; one that gives me the time to truly listen, understand your concerns, and focus on what matters most: you.

By stepping away from the limitations often imposed by traditional insurance-based medicine, I can provide care that is thoughtful, individualized, and centered on your unique health goals. I believe every patient deserves to feel heard, respected, and cared for as a whole person—not just treated for a condition. My goal is to partner with you in achieving your best possible health while providing the attentive, compassionate care you deserve.

What is Life style Medicine?

Life style medicine is a healthcare approach that combines conventional medical treatment with evidence-informed complementary therapies, while focusing on the whole person, not just symptoms.

The goal is to address physical health, mental and emotional well-being, lifestyle habits, and prevention and long-term wellness.

A doctor practicing life style medicine may also include addition therapies, for example nutrition, exercise, sleep, and other modalities, to optimize health. Life style medicine differs from “alternative medicine” because it does not reject conventional medicine.

Women’s Health - Women’s life style medicine is an approach that combines conventional women’s healthcare with lifestyle, preventive, and complementary therapies tailored to women’s specific health needs across different life stages.

Virtual Appointments Available!

Virtual medical appointments, also called telehealth or telemedicine, have become popular because they make healthcare more convenient, accessible, and efficient for many types of care.

Virtual appointments are convenient allowing you to see the doctor from home, work, or while traveling. This eliminates commuting, parking and waiting rooms, saving you time. Schedule an appointment during your lunch break or between responsibilities.

Telehealth can help people who live in rural areas, have mobility limitations, have busy schedules, need specialist access, or lack transportation. They can improve access for mental health and chronic disease management, while reducing exposure to Flu, Covid-19, and other contagious illnesses.
